WEEK 12

Sunday, August 26

Darren and Lilly surprised me with breakfast in bed! It was a great way to start the week!

This picture reminds me of the one we took when she was just a few days old (below). Look how much she has changed already!

While we were getting ready to go for a walk, Darren decided he wanted to try on Lilly's hat...

We discovered that the pack and play we had sitting upstairs had a changing table and bassinet attachment...this would have saved us leaning over the other pack and play to change her diaper...oh well!

She slept in this bassinet when she was first born. Now she is just barely small enough to fit in it!

Notice we are already wearing a different bib...we go through bibs quickly now!

My beautiful baby! We are still waiting to see what color her eyes will be.

Wednesday, August 29

A mid morning nap. Lilly didn't spend much time out of my arms during this week. I knew it was my last week with her, so I rarely put her down. I don't think she minded though :o)

We went to All Aboard with Chad, Michelle, Ryan and Allie. It's always nice to see how much the kids (and Chad and Michelle of course) love Lilly and want to see her.

Thursday, August 30

It looks like she is flexing her biceps here.

Lilly almost always falls asleep in the car.

Saturday, September 1

We went to the outlets to go "back to school" shopping. I hadn't been shopping since before I was pregnant, so I was pretty excited. Lilly was too, can you tell?

I changed her in the dressing room of Banana Republic. I don't think anyone noticed....hehe

WEEK 13

Sunday, September 2

Lilly has really found her voice lately. She loves to have full "conversations" with me and is very keen to sing whenever we will let her. When I sing to her she often sings with me or picks up if I stop. It literally melts my heart!

Monday, September 3

She still loves sticking out her tongue and imitating me when I do this back to her.

I held Lilly for as long as possible today because the next day is when I started back to work. I will never forget the 3 amazing months I got to spend at home with my Lilly and I am thankful every day for that precious time.

Tuesday, September 4

Today was an insane day for me, so I didn't take any pictures, but our babysitter, Kristi, sent this to me at work so I would know Lilly was having fun and happy :o)

Friday, September 7

Kristi sent this one of Lilly on her playmat with "Gus Gus" the dog standing guard. He loves to watch over Lilly and is very protective of her. It's adorable!

Saturday, September 8

My baby is definitely teething. Her fist has staying in her mouth pretty much nonstop today. She is not overly cranky, but she loved it when I rubbed her paci on her bottom gums. She also wore her teething necklace all day, which I think helped.
