No autographs, please
She is riding low...
Hanging out in her baby carrier so she could see the game
Lilly really loves her exersauser! She reaches for all of the toys and can spin herself around pretty well. She is still a tiny bit short, but she makes it work :o)
She even likes to reach for mommy's camera!
The next large group of pictures were too funny to not include. We always take a picture each week to show Lilly's growth. This week was particularly challenging because she wants to sit up, but needs help, and then she also wants to grab the paper! Here is the story of our 22 week picture:
Daddy, hold me up. I want to sit up
See I can do it!
Oh wait! No ab muscles!
Phew! Ok, Daddy got me.
Ma, will you take the picture already?
Oooohhh something shiny!
Ok, I'm ready!
Dad! Let go!
If I look the other way, they won't see my hand reaching for the paper.
Ha! I got it!
Hmmm...I wonder what this tastes like.
It's a little big to get into my mouth...
Oh man! Mommy took it away!
Keep smiling...she won't notice if you grab it again.
Keep smiling...
Keep smiling...
Got it!
Haha!
Mom, take the picture!
Lilly is now completely fascinated by our tablets. She wants to play with them or watch things on them whenever we are using them.
Monday, November 12
She's got Daddy by the string...
We LOVED having an extra day off to be with Lilly. She obviously hated it ;o)
Tell me this face is not a "Darren" face?
Lilly has recently started showing interested in the food and drink we have.
She really wanted some of Daddy's soda!
Look at my big girl sitting in the recliner by herself!
She's even trying to be a little lady and cross her legs!
Her smile still melts my hear every time!
Oops! So much for being a little lady!
Come on teeth! Where are you?
She is singing...just like mommy :o)
I don't know if I have ever seen a baby smile and laugh this much!
I could literally watch Lilly all day long. She just smiles and plays and makes every little thing seem like the greatest thing in the world. I love her so much!
Tuesday, November 13
Kristi's daughter, Jessica, has decided she is going to teach Lilly to crawl.
She gets up on her hands and (somewhat) her knees, but I think we have a while until she gets them working together.
Kristi calls this Lilly's "happy seat" because she gets to sit up and play with all of her toys.
We are still battling a blocked tear duct so Lilly's eye looks a little red, but I think it is getting better. It's pretty common for babies to have this and our doctor said it should clear itself up.
It definitely bothers me more than it bothers her
Wednesday, November 14
Look, Ma! No hands! (Lilly is chewing her teether with no hands while she watches Dora.
Pretty much anything we have, Lilly thinks she should get to have.
I thought this was too cute! Don't worry, it's empty!
Thursday, November 15
Lilly loves her Daddy! Darren was getting Lilly's belly with his head and she was cracking up! It was so adorable! I tried to get it on film and our video camera was dead, so a couple pictures will have to do :o)
Friday, November 16
It's hard to believe how quickly the time is going. Lilly is growing up so quickly! Look how easily she holds her head up like a big girl! Mommy is not ready for her to grow up!
It's been a while since I've posted a picture of the monkey toes!
Saturday, November 17
Lilly wore her Tar Heel cheerleader outfit while we watched the previous night's Carolina game (which was on at 11 p.m. and I had NO chance of staying awake for)
I was wearing my HGMS sweatshirt, so this picture isn't quite as perfect as it could be, but hopefully no one is looking at me when this beautiful baby is in the picture anyway!
My angel sleeping in her Daddy's arms. New favorite picture.
We tried putting Lilly in her jumparoo for the first time. I was worried she would be too little for it, but she seemed to really like it! She can barely touch the floor so she can't really jump yet, but she loves all of the toys!
Uh oh, she is starting early! Lilly really wanted some of Daddy's peppermint latte
Don't worry, she didn't really get any
