Sunday, October 14
It was an absolutely beautiful day today, so we decided to go to a pumpkin patch with Lilly to get her first pumpkin and take some pictures. The sun was pretty bright, but we managed to get a lot of really cute pictures. Some very kind people even offered to take a picture of all three of us, so we have a nice family shot from the day as well.

18 weeks old! Where is the time going???
Lilly does an amazing job holding herself up during tummy time now, and she is even happy...for the first 5 minutes or so ;o)
Monday, October 15
We were enjoying our track out time at home playing with miss Lilly.

I try to vary how she does tummy time because it's not her favorite activity. So we tried the old standby: airplane!
We had to go to the doctor today for Lilly's 4 month checkup. We waited for a while to see our favorite doctor (it's ok because we are tracked out!). Lilly weighed 12 lbs 11 oz (25th percentile), measured 24 inches long (34th percentile) and her head measured 16 inches (35th percentile). She also had to get 3 shots :o( She was a trooper like last time and only cried for a few seconds before I nursed her and she fell right asleep.

Today was Darren's last day of track out. We spent a quiet day at home hanging out with Lilly and soaking up as much time with her as possible.
There are my favorite pajamas that we have for her. I just love the stripes!
Thursday, October 18
Lilly and I met Darren and a few friends out for lunch today. I stayed home with her and took the workday off, but Darren really wanted to see us during the day. It was a bittersweet day because I continually thought about having to go back to work the next day, but I tried to just focus on my beautiful baby girl :o)

Friday, October 19
I had to go back to work today :o( Luckily Lilly's babysitter sent me some nice photos to help get me through the day.

Saturday, October 20
I wasn't feeling 100% today, but it was Allie's birthday and we didn't want to miss it. Plus it was good to get out of the house and have a distraction. We had a GREAT time at Allie's birthday and it was nice to see so many people we hadn't seen in a while.
